Yesterday was a pretty special day for me as it was not just a run of the mill shopping trip to london with friends but was the day i met one of my musical heroes ED MCFARLANE of friendly fires. This occured while i was walking around a indoor vintage market on brick lane and was told to turn around by my brother to see something special and from that moment on I felt pretty faint. I have to say he is one of the nicest guys I have ever met and Im pretty sure the fact we were from Luton which he described as his ends while he popped his collar helped us get to know him better (he and his band come from st albans a 10 min car journey away) After having a long old chat with him about how amazing he was we walked away in a state of bliss of which im still feeling till this very moment. My friends and I talked for hours after of how we would go about tracking him down again and making him our own as we spotted him a couple of times afterwards to. Im pretty sure Im in love with him more now than I ever was.
