Thought I'd pop a short summary of my favourites from London fash week's A/W 10 collection's for my mate etc to read if they wanted, the first of which being one of my favourite menswear designers Carolyn Massey. Her usual old english military ethos has been taken on to a whole new level by not applying the usual military colour pallet of navy, gold and red and instead opting for pale shades of pink and grey which were then layered with black and matt scarfs, jackets and accessories which seemed to me to have created a vintage look with a slight futuristic twist. Adding to the layers were Massey design staples like slim cropped trousers and the belted blazer but new additions were also seen in way of brooches reminisent of medals to fasten layers tightly to the body and also fishnet sock's a idea I pray will catch on so I can get my hands on a pair! Massey does a Lens collection for topman every year (I managed to get my hands on a jumper earlier this week) and I hope we see some of these designs work there way down to the topman fifth floor in Autumn.
