Gossip Girl flash back

I randomly woke up at 4am and decided to pop on the sky box in my room and Itv2 automatically came up on my screen, on the channel was a old episode from Gossip Girl series 2 where Serena's mum lets her stay in prison to 'teach her a lesson' and episode also flashes back to when Lily Van Der Woodsen was the exact same age as her daughter and was in a similar situation. The episode was alright storyline wise but what i loved was the 80's flashbacks and clothes. I have to say the wardrobe department did a really good job in capturing the early 80's (or what my imagination thinks the early 80's was like). There was apparently supposed to be a spin off for the 80's flashbacks that never happened which is a real shame as i would have really loved to have watched it.
